WHY TINT MY HOME?

10% OFF ALL MILITARY AND MILITARY VETERANS*(maximum of $500.00)

You want to tint your home because it will make you more comfortable while saving you money. The number one source of heat loss and heat gain in a home is through the glass. Madico window films will block up to 83% of the heat coming in through the glass. Less heat means less air conditioning which leads to lower electricity bills. As if that wasn't enough reason to tint your home film also does the following:

  • BLOCKS HEAT
  • BLOCKS UV (99%+)
  • PREVENTS FADING
  • REDUCES GLARE (direct or on tv/ computer screens)
  • IMPROVES SAFETY (glass breakage)
  • IMPROVES PRIVACY (some films)
  • OUTPERFORMS SOLAR SCREENS AND LOW E GLASS
  • CARRIES A LIFETIME WARRANTY
  • ELIMINATES "HOT SPOTS"
  • IMPROVES COMFORT
  • MAINTAINS OPTICAL CLARITY (unlike screens)
  • IS AN ENERGY STAR PRODUCT

NOT ALL WINDOW FILMS ARE CREATED EQUAL
Most films on the market today that are available for residential or commercial application are pushing people away from the want to have window film installed at all. It is very common for a standard film to fade, turn purple, absorb more heat than it reflects, break glass, bubble, or peel. There are a couple of reasons why this happens. Firstly, the majority of window films are dyed, the dye fades within a matter of 1-5 years depending on the type of dying process used. Even if a film is represented as metal it may still contain some dye, and in turn fade or discolor. The adhesive used in most films is like a glue. This glue will break down over time and cause the film to bubble or peel off the glass. Also generally the UV inhibitors (what blocks the uv rays) are found in this glue and will also break down with it. In addition to these two common problems, there is also the matter of glass breakage. Dyed films absorb more heat, than they can reflect, because of this glass breakage or seal failure can occur.

WE ARE AN AUTHORIZED MADICO FILMS DEALER
The answer to the common window film is here. Madico Window Films was the first window film company, it began in 1903. They introduced the first window film ever used, and continue to lead the industry in technology and performance. The films we offer are guaranteed to never discolor, fade, peel, or bubble. Our films are scientifically designed to stand the test of time while continuously performing like new. Our films are created with a variety of metal alloys which is the reason they will not fade, also because of this "metalizing" process the films absorb less heat than other leading films. Madico uses a CDA (Clear Dry Adhesive) which chemically bonds the film to the glass without "glue". This process will not harm your glass and is removable if it were ever necessary.
